$25,000 underwrites a semester of Geek Girls, reaching 60 girls through workshops and lessons from leading female experts.
$20,000 allows 20 girls to participate in month-long internship at a local non-profit to learn about social justice in a professional realm.
$15,000 helps us provide 50 participants the opportunity to use art to explore identity, social awareness and activism.
$10,000 keeps YWCA NYC’s Step In & Stop It: Bystander Intervention workshop opportunity free for all participants.
$5,000 brings Everyday Heroes, the YWCA NYC’s social justice arts program, to 50 elementary school students.
$2,500 supports remote tutoring assistance and social emotional learning during COVID-19.
$1,000 supports the YWCA NYC’s summer camp enrichment programs–art, theater, sports, music and STEM–for 600 boys and girls.
$750 helps us unite 350 women and girls, in-person or virtually, at our annual Potential to Power Girls Symposium.
$500 helps 5 young women attend our College Knowledge & Readiness Program.
$250 helps us produce Stand Against Racism initiatives including advocacy, education forums, and our annual Poetry Slam where our kids perform their own art.
$100 sends STEM project packages to the homes of our GEEK Girls so that they can continue to learn remotely.
$50 will provide a child with a month of after-school snacks.
